Interviews with Nayaswami Asha about
Swami Kriyananda As We Have Known Him

Interview with Nancy Lee

“You can pick up and read this book on any page and become inspired, intrigued, and amazed. It’s so interesting to see how someone with this level of understanding lives and teaches.”

Interview with Catherine Bradford

“Before reading this book, I knew very little about Swami Kriyananda. Hundreds of anecdotes keep the book flowing with a delightful assortment of situations, people, spiritual journeys, and “Aha!” moments. I could see Swami Kriyananda is a man of strong inner wisdom. His teachings bring light to conditions people struggle with right now.... Asha’s personal journey is also, to me, quite fascinating. By embracing the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, through his disciple Swami Kriyananda, Asha has become a great person. She is doing wonderful work throughout the world. It was a real pleasure to speak with her.”
—Catherine Bradford, host of “Wellness Roadshow”

Interview (TV) with Jean Rammaciotti

“A biography of a spiritual person is often page after page of ‘Isn’t he wonderful!’ or ‘Isn’t she wonderful!’ After awhile you are happy that everyone likes him or her so much, but it is just the author’s idea. It isn’t necessarily real to the reader. What we need now, in our time and place, is spirituality lived, not merely talked about and not merely imagined.....”

Freedom from Within: Knowing Spirit Through healing Your Soul

“Yesterday Asha Praver, author of Swami Kriyananda As We Have Known Him, was our guest on the BBS Radio program,‘Knowing Spirit’, and what a delight it was speaking with her. What was even more delightful to the ears were her memories of the way Kriyananda dealt with various situations demonstrating his great wisdom. One of the stories she told left quite an impression on me. It was about a friend using money without permission and when the staff was pressing for some sort of disciplinary action, Swami was able to show them a much better way of dealing with the situation. He felt that friendship had to come before money.

“This reminded me greatly of some of the teachings we have received from All That Is—that in the midst of every situation and circumstance, see the perfection; see the perfection in every one and every thing; know that only Love exists; and practicing the awareness of, ‘I see you in the Perfection of Who you truly are.’ This morning as I was recalling yesterday’s conversation, I could hear: Above all else, see the God in every one.

“What a lesson this is for mankind! Was that what Kriyananda was demonstrating to his staff many years ago? Based on the stories included in the book it appears that this Spiritual Teacher has been bringing great light into the lives of those whom he has touched. May he continue to do so for many more! Thank you, Asha Praver, for sharing these stories and for the parts you play in bringing Light to the world.”
